Our children-friendly campground lies in the southernmost part of Carinthia, on the shores of the Faaker See. 7 hectares of park-like grounds with a more than 3 ha recreation area, swimming childrenbeach, modern sanitary facilities, baby wash rooms, "FABOLAND" children’s playland, self-service restaurant, grocery store, PIZZERIA and grill restaurant, etc. Organized activity programs such as a Children’s Olympics, 2x weekly Punch & Judy show.... fishing in our own fishing waters, canoes (all-inclusive). Familiencamping campground on the Faaker See, a lake seemingly created for glorious getaways together, has this and so much more in store for you and your family. Open from 28. April until 4. Hop on your bike and off you go! For its dedication to cyclists, the region which surrounds Austria’s southernmost recreational lake definitely merits its own yellow jersey. Cycle paths and tours, cyclist-friendly businesses, guided bike expeditions – with ever more kilometers, services and frequency every single year. Casual cyclists can be seen tooling along next to the Faaker See on a broad network of bike paths in this, the most central of Carinthia’s holiday regions. Road cyclists set a faster pace on little traveled, though fast roads. With good reason, this region hosted the Cycling World Championships in 1987. Mountain bikers, too, really love the exceptional trail network. And here at our cyclist-friendly campground, all enjoy a perfect infrastructure and heartfelt hospitality.
Climbing on the Kanzianiberg
Climbing on the Kanzianiberg Kanzianiberg The Kanzianiberg, also known by climbers as the "Kanz", is one of the biggest and most spectacular climbing destinations in all of Carinthia. This mountain, with more than 300 routes and around 400 rope lengths, is regarded as one of the best for climbers in all of Austria.
Mountain bike tours around Lake Faak
Mountain bikers have it good at Lake Faak. Various tours around Lake Faak unmistakably invite you to go biking. In addition, there is the first cross-border mountain bike trail over the Jepza Saddle to Slovenia at Lake Faak. An unforgettable experience right next to the Mittagskogel (2143 m) to conquer the Karawanken by bike and then biking directly to Kranjska Gora.
